What a busy month we've had. Gavin had his 6 month check up, saw the beach for the first time, learned to sit up on his own, and has started to use a sippy cup. We began the new year with a trip to Kingsville to eat at the legendary "Kings Inn". I have been wanting to eat there since I was prego and we decided to take Gavin for his first weekend getaway. The food was delish! We spent the night in Corpus and took Gavin walking on the pier. He loved watching all the people. Gavin also had his 6 month check up this week. They gave him 4 shots :( He is weighing in at 21 lbs. 8.5 oz. and measures 28 inches. He is in the 90th percentile for both. According to our pediatrician's magic laptop our son will probably be 6'1 or 6'2. Big Man! He is sitting up on his own and is experimenting with a sippy cup. Oh, I almost forgot, Gavin has two teeth. I will try and get a picture of them. They are on the bottom so his tongue seems to cover them up. Our little man is growing up so fast.
